Among our strategic communications services is a robust media relations practice to help clients advocate for their missions and reach more audiences with their thought leadership.
Giving Strong seeks a creative, persistent and quick-thinking media relations professional who can take complex concepts and communicate them simply and succinctly to earn placement in local, national and trade media platforms.

Assignment:

Produce and distribute a wide variety of media relations content including press releases, story pitches, media advisories, position statements, op-eds, articles, and other communications.

Proactively pitch stories to media outlets.

Develop and edit list of media targets.

Participate in client meetings.

Candidate must have some media relations experience;  and preferably a working knowledge of economic development, financial services and philanthropy. Because this position represents more than one client it also requires an an ability to multi-task.
